Equipo Económico lawyer acts for ex-Real Madrid coach in High Court case
Manuel de Vicente-Tutor, lawyer and partner in charge of the tax and regulatory department at Madrid-based multidisciplinary professional services firm Equipo Económico, has successfully represented former Real Madrid coach José Mourinho in a court battle with the Spanish tax authorities.
The Administrative Chamber of the National High Court annulled a tax penalty of €571,000 imposed on Mourinho.
The ruling said the tax authorities had used “blatantly erroneous arguments”.
Vicente-Tutor was one of the partners that founded Equipo Económico in 2007.
