One of the consortium’s bidding for the club – which comprises L.A. Dodgers part-owner Todd Boehly, the Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss and businessman former chief executive of Olswang Jonathan Goldstein.

Chelsea FC was put up for sale after sanctions were imposed on the club’s owner Roman Abramovich due to his links with Russian president Vladimir Putin who commanded the forces that recently invaded Ukraine.


Law firm Skadden Arps reportedly severed ties with Abramovich, a client of the firm, prior to the Russian oligarch having sanctions imposed upon him by the UK government on 10 March.
