Brazilian law firm Lollato Lopes Rangel Ribeiro is advising Brazilian football club Chapecoense on its judicial recovery process.

The judicial recovery was granted by Chapecó’s first civil court.

It is the first football club in Brazil to go through a judicial recovery process, which enables debtors to negotiate with creditors on the repayment of debts.

The club’s debts total around R$80 million ($15.5 million).

Lollato Lopes Rangel Ribeiro’s team is being led by partner Felipe Lollato.
