Proceeds from Italian football club's non-fungible token will go to charity

Latham & Watkins advised Italian football club Como 1907 (Como) on the development of its first non-fungible token (NFT), launched at an auction with all proceeds donated to Emergency, a charity offering free care to victims of war and poverty.

The NFT was developed by Como in partnership with a leading fintech company using blockchain-based technologies.

The NFT entitles the auction winner to two lifetime tickets in the grandstand, as well as an “exclusive Como travel experience”. The auction runs until the end of April 2022.
