Association wants to fill position by April this year
The Football Association has begun a search for a legal counsel.
The successful applicant will fill the role for 12-months of maternity cover.
The role will involve drafting and negotiating key commercial contracts for the FA, including broadcasting and sponsorship.
The new counsel will also draft contracts covering including licensing, funding agreements, event staging and venue hire, IT contracts, competition terms and conditions and supply/services agreements.
The successful applicant will start in the role in March or April of this year.
