Partner Magdalena Bertram advised on acquisition of 51 per cent stake in club
Law firm Ecija has advised a group of investors on the acquisition of a 51 per cent stake in Real Zaragoza.
This group of investors includes, among others, brothers Jorge and José Mas Santos, Joseph Oughourlian (founder of Amber Capital), Gustavo Serpa, Jim Carpenter and Jim Miller.
The investors have experience of running football clubs around the world including Inter Miami, Racing Club de Lens and Millonarios FC.
The Ecija team advising on the transaction included partner Magdalena Bertram (pictured) and lawyer Álvaro Gallego.
Real Zaragoza currently plays in the second tier of Spanish football.
