England international signs a two-and-a-half year contract with Newcastle

Kieran Trippier was advised by law firm Mills & Reeve on his £12 million transfer from Atletico Madrid to Newcastle United.
Trippier, who appeared for England in the Euro 2020 Final against Italy, has agreed a two-and-a-half year contract.
The Mills & Reeve team included partner Carol Couse and counsel Tiran Gunawardena.
Trippier joined Atletico Madrid from Tottenham in 2019 for £20 million.
It is Newcastle United’s first signing since the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) acquired a majority stake in the club last autumn.
PIF was advised by Allen & Overy on the deal, with the former owner of Newcastle United, Mike Ashley, advised by Dentons.
In March last year, Mills & Reeve advised Trippier in a Football Association case concerning betting-related charges.
