Blaser Mills wins Koopman football case

FIFA football tribunal success follows similar case involving coach René Hiddink

Blaser Mills Law has successfully represented its client, Dutch football coach Martin Koopman, in a dispute before the FIFA Football Tribunal involving Koopman’s former employer, the Football Association of Maldives (FAM).

It follows Blaser Mills Law’s recent success in a similar dispute between FAM and another Dutch coach René Hiddink.

In the latest case involving Koopman, the Players’ Status Chamber of the FIFA Football Tribunal has handed down its decision, entering judgment in favour of Koopman in his financial claim against his former employer.

Ashley Cukier of Littleton Chambers represented Koopman in the proceedings.
