Austrian club signs Simon Piesinger from Danish club Randers FC
Berlin Sports Law advised Austrian football club RZ Pellets WAC on the signing of defensive midfielder Simon Piesinger from Danish club Randers FC.
Piesinger started his career in the Linz academy, later playing for Blau-Weiß Linz in the second division for a year before making the jump to the highest Austrian division at the age of 20 with FC Wacker Innsbruck.
In the 2014/15 season, he moved to SK Sturm Graz before moving to SCR Altach three years later.
After a total of 137 games in the Austrian Bundesliga, in which he recorded 14 goals and 8 assists, Piesinger moved to Randers FC in Denmark in the summer of 2019. After three years in Denmark – where he recorded 7 goals and 4 assists in 106 matches and won the Danish Cup with Randers in the 2020/21 season – Piesinger has signed a 3-year contract with RZ Pellets WAC.
